The purpose of the Appalachian Pastel Society is the promotion, development,
and enjoyment of pastel art.
The Appalachian Pastel Society supports and sponsors these and other
pastel art activities:
• Appalachian Pastel Society juried art exhibitions
• Pastel art workshops
• Educational pastel art demonstrations
• Pastel art paint-outs
• Networking for Appalachian region pastel artists
• Recognition and publicity of member achievements
• Appalachian Pastel Society (APS) Newsletter
• Appalachian Pastel Society web site
• Pastel art events and activities that members suggest, to make
our society an organization of interest and value
• Bi-monthly member meeteings (Please see the newsletter
for our next meeting date)
